Australia generates over 500,000 tonnes of electronic waste each year. That is roughly 20 kilograms per person, nearly three times the global average. Since 2012, Phonebot has worked to change that trajectory. We have rehomed over one million devices, keeping functional technology in active use rather than in landfill.

Every refurbished device we sell extends the life of existing hardware and reduces demand for new manufacturing. Our commitment goes beyond refurbishment. We partner with Ecocycle for responsible e-waste recycling and have offset 139 tonnes of carbon through Australian Biodiversity Reforestation, verified by Carbon Neutral.
