Black Friday Deals 2026 — Australia's Biggest Tech Sales

Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday 27 November, and it is the one week of the year when nearly every tech category drops at once. This guide covers which models are actually worth buying in the sale, how the week is structured, and which Phonebot page to shop for each brand, so you are not clicking between twelve tabs on the day.
Everything in our sale is refurbished or open box, tested before it is listed and covered by warranty, which means the discount sits on top of a price that already runs well below new.
When Is Black Friday 2026 in Australia?
Black Friday is Friday 27 November 2026. Cyber Monday follows on Monday 30 November, and the two bookend a four-day weekend that most Australian retailers now stretch into a full week. Expect offers to open earlier in that week and some to carry into early December.
Click Frenzy runs its main event separately in November and lasts about 48 hours, so it rewards deciding fast. Black Friday gives you four days, which is usually long enough to compare properly. Boxing Day in late December is the other big one, but by then the range has been picked over, so it suits buyers who are flexible on model rather than those after something specific.
Black Friday Phone Deals
Phones are the biggest category of the week and the one where refurbished makes the largest difference. New-phone retailers cut Android hard at Black Friday and barely touch iPhone, so the gap between new and refurbished is widest on Apple. The pattern otherwise repeats every year: the newest models get trimmed, and the models one or two generations back fall the furthest. Here are eight worth looking at, one for each kind of buyer, running from the most affordable to the most capable.
| Phone | Best for | Why this one |
| Apple iPhone 12 | A first phone, a backup, or a hand-me-down | The cheapest route to 5G, an OLED screen and MagSafe. A14 Bionic still handles everything most people do. |
| Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 | Anyone who wants a phone that fits a small pocket | The most affordable way into a foldable. Folds to half the size, and the cover screen takes replies, music and selfies without opening it. |
| Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max | Cameras on a budget | The best value on this list. A 48MP main camera, 120Hz ProMotion, Dynamic Island and an always-on display, from the generation that has already taken its steepest drop. |
| Google Pixel 9 Pro XL | Photography | Google does more in processing than in the sensor, so photos come out right with no editing. Three rear cameras and years of updates still to run. |
| Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra | Android users who write or draw | The S Pen is built into the body, not an accessory. A 200MP main camera and a titanium frame, a generation behind the current Ultra and well below it. |
| Apple iPhone 16 Pro | Current-generation Apple without the newest price | USB-C, the Camera Control button, a 5x telephoto, and ProMotion. Everything the newest iPhone does, a generation earlier. |
| Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra | The best Android screen | The current Ultra: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 200MP camera, built-in S Pen, and the largest display Samsung makes. |
| Apple iPhone 17 Pro | The newest hardware | The fastest chip Apple ships, three 48MP cameras, and the brightest display. Open box and brand new units as they arrive. |

Apple
The iPhone 17 and iPhone 18 Pro are the current end of the range, available brand new and open box for buyers who want the newest silicon. The real value sits one and two steps back. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 15 both use USB-C and both have the Dynamic Island, so they feel like current phones and will keep receiving iOS updates for years. The iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 are the most-ordered models in our Black Friday weekends: both have OLED displays, Face ID, MagSafe and Ceramic Shield, which covers what almost anyone actually uses a phone for. Below that, the iPhone 12 is the entry point to 5G and OLED, and the iPhone 11 is the budget pick for a first phone or a spare. Our Apple Black Friday range lists every Apple device in the sale, including Mac and AirPods.
Samsung
Samsung's own Black Friday leans on TVs and appliances, so phone discounts come from retailers and refurbished sellers. The Galaxy S26 is the current flagship, but the S25 Ultra and S24 Ultra are the smarter buys in a sale: both keep the 200MP main camera and the built-in S Pen, and both sit well under the S26 beside them. Note that only the Ultra models carry the S Pen, so check which version you are looking at rather than the generation alone. The foldables are where the dollar savings are largest, because they launch highest: the Z Flip folds a normal phone in half for the pocket, and the Z Fold opens into a tablet-sized screen. See the Samsung Black Friday range.
Google Pixel
Pixel is the pick for photography, because Google does more of the work in processing than in the sensor, so an older Pixel still takes excellent photos. The Pixel 10 and 10 Pro are the current generation on Tensor G5; the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro XL are the value picks a year on. The Pixel 8 series is the one worth knowing about, since Google committed to seven years of OS and security updates from that generation, which means an 8 or an 8a bought today still has years of support left. Our Pixel Black Friday guide covers the range generation by generation.
OPPO
The quiet value brand of the sale. The Reno series is the everyday line, with 120Hz AMOLED displays and charging speeds that still beat most flagships, while the Find series is the premium end. Stock is thinner here than the big three, so the range moves faster. See our Oppo Black Friday guide.
If you would rather browse everything at once, the full refurbished phone range sits behind all four.
Black Friday Tablet Deals
Tablets stay useful longer than phones, which is why older generations fall so far and still handle everything most people need. On the Apple side the choice is really four devices: the standard iPad for households and schoolwork, the iPad Air for anyone using it for real work, the iPad Mini at 8.3 inches for reading and travel, and the iPad Pro for video, photo and drawing. The Air is the sweet spot for most buyers, because it runs Apple silicon and has a laminated display, which is the difference you feel the moment you put a pencil on it. On the Samsung side the Tab S models include the S Pen in the box and run DeX for a desktop-style layout, while the A series covers streaming and browsing for far less.
| Tablet | Best for | Why this one |
| Apple iPad Mini 5 | Reading, travel and one-handed use | The most affordable tablet on this list, and it is the pocket-sized one. Fits a jacket pocket or a flight tray table and runs the same apps as the big models. Available in 64GB and 256GB. |
| Apple iPad 9th Gen | Households, schoolwork, the kitchen bench | The standard iPad, with Touch ID and Apple Pencil support. The widest choice of storage and grades here, including a 256GB version if it is holding photos and films. |
| Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 | Android users who want a stylus included | The S Pen comes in the box rather than costing extra, and DeX turns it into a desktop layout on an external screen. An 11-inch 120Hz display. |
| Apple iPad Air 4th Gen | Note-taking, drawing and real work | The laminated display is the difference you feel the moment a pencil touches the glass. Takes the Apple Pencil 2 and a keyboard case. |
| Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch M2 | Video, photo and design work | A mini-LED display with far deeper blacks, 120Hz ProMotion, Face ID and the M2 chip. The tablet that genuinely replaces a laptop. |
| Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra | The biggest screen you can carry | A 14.6-inch AMOLED, larger than most laptops, with the S Pen included. For split-screen work, drawing and films. |
Each page shows live pricing, storage and condition for every unit.
Two choices matter more than the generation. Storage cannot be expanded later, so size it for the next few years. And cellular is worth it only if the tablet leaves the house, though cellular models do add real GPS, which Wi-Fi-only tablets cannot do at all. Our Black Friday iPad range covers Apple generation by generation, and the wider refurbished tablet range covers Samsung and the rest.
Black Friday Smartwatch Deals
A watch is the easiest device to buy refurbished because the case and band wear separately, and a replacement band costs very little, so you can replace a worn strap for the price of a new one. On Apple, the Series 11 is the one to pick if battery life has put you off smartwatches before, since it runs roughly a day longer than the Series 9 and adds hypertension notifications and a Sleep Score. The Series 10 is the value pick, with a thinner case and a wider display. The Series 9 still has the full always-on display, ECG and blood oxygen for considerably less. The Ultra is the outdoor model: 49mm titanium, dual-frequency GPS and a battery measured in days. On Samsung, the Galaxy Watch Classic models add the rotating bezel, which is the nicest way to move through Wear OS without touching the screen.
| Watch | Best for | Why this one |
| Apple Watch Series 8 45mm GPS Cellular | Cellular on the smallest budget | The most affordable watch here that works without your iPhone nearby. Calls, messages and Emergency SOS on its own, plus temperature sensing and Crash Detection. |
| Apple Watch Series 9 45mm GPS Cellular | The full health suite, still with cellular | A step up from the Series 8 that adds ECG, blood oxygen and the Double Tap gesture for answering calls one-handed. Nothing important is missing from this one. |
| Apple Watch Series 10 GPS Aluminium | The best screen for the money | The generation where the case got thinner and the display got wider, so it stays readable with your wrist down. Adds sleep apnoea notifications and faster charging. GPS only in this configuration. |
| Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic 46mm Cellular | Android users | The rotating bezel is still the nicest way to move through a watch without touching the screen. Needs an Android phone; it will not pair with an iPhone. |
| Apple Watch Series 11 42mm GPS Aluminium | Wearing it overnight | Roughly a day more battery than the Series 9, which is what makes sleep tracking practical without a morning charge. Adds hypertension notifications and a nightly Sleep Score. GPS only in this configuration. |
| Apple Watch Ultra 49mm Cellular | Outdoors, and the most watch for the money | A 49mm titanium case, dual-frequency GPS, 100m water resistance, the Action Button, days of battery, and cellular as standard rather than as a step up. |
The Series 8 and Series 9 entries here are Cellular while the Series 10 and Series 11 entries are GPS only, so if you want a watch that works away from your phone, start with those two. Each model page shows live pricing, size and condition for every unit.
Two things to settle before you buy. Cellular lets the watch work without your phone nearby but needs a plan added to your mobile account. And platform is not optional: an Apple Watch needs an iPhone, and a Galaxy Watch needs an Android phone. Our Apple Watch Black Friday range covers every Apple generation we hold, and the broader refurbished smartwatch range covers Samsung and other brands.
Black Friday Laptop Deals
Black Friday laptop deals in Australia work differently to phones. Retailers trim current models by a little, but the real saving on a laptop comes from buying one that has already taken its steepest depreciation. On a machine that stays genuinely useful for five or six years, that gap is the largest in dollars of anything in this guide, which is why laptops are worth looking at in the sale even if a phone is what brought you here.
Our range splits cleanly in two. Microsoft Surface covers the practical end, where a touchscreen and a detachable or convertible design do things a MacBook simply cannot. At the other end sits the Apple machine, where the saving against new is the largest of anything in the sale. Which generations are available changes as stock comes through the warehouse, so the table below shows what is here now.
| Laptop | Best for | Why this one |
| Microsoft Surface Book 13.5-inch i5 | The cheapest route into a touchscreen laptop | The screen detaches and works as a tablet on its own, which no MacBook does at any price. 13.5-inch touchscreen, 8GB memory. |
| Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 12.4-inch i5 | Carrying it all day | Small and light enough to forget in a bag, with 256GB of storage and a touchscreen. The pick for students and commuters. |
| Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 15-inch Ryzen 5 | A big screen for the money | A 15-inch touchscreen for what most brands charge for 13 inches, with an aluminium body and a full-size keyboard. |
| Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch M4 Max 48GB | Video editing, 3D and heavy development | The most powerful laptop Apple makes. A 48GB unified memory pool and a 16-inch mini-LED display, for work that would stall a normal machine. |
Three things to settle before you buy any laptop in a sale. Memory and storage cannot be upgraded later on an Apple machine, so size both for the next four years rather than for today; on a Surface they sometimes can, but it is rarely worth the labour. Screen size decides portability more than weight does, since a 15-inch machine will not fit a small bag however light it is. And the condition grade matters less on a laptop than on a phone, because the marks are on a lid you rarely look at rather than a screen you stare at all day, which makes a Grade B laptop one of the better value buys of the week.
Looking specifically for a MacBook? Every Mac in the sale sits on our Apple Black Friday range alongside iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. For Windows, Surface and everything else currently in stock, browse the full refurbished laptop range.
Black Friday Headphone and Earbud Deals
Audio is the category people add to an order rather than plan for, which is why it pays to know what is actually discounted before you reach the checkout. The decision is simpler than it looks: over-ear headphones for flights, desk work and anything where you want the world gone, or earbuds for the gym, the commute and a pocket. Everything else is preference.
| Audio | Best for | Why this one |
| Apple AirPods Max USB-C | Flights, open-plan offices and long listening | Over-ear active noise cancellation with memory foam cushions, Transparency mode for when you need to hear an announcement, and spatial audio that tracks your head as you move. The Digital Crown is the best volume control on any pair of headphones. Charges over USB-C, so it shares a cable with everything else you own. |
| Apple AirPods Max 2 | The newest over-ear Apple makes | The current generation, in brand new condition. The same over-ear design and noise cancelling if you would rather have the latest than the larger saving. |
| Samsung Galaxy Buds4 | Android users and the gym | In-ear with active noise cancellation, and they pair fastest with a Galaxy phone. The pick if you want something that disappears into a pocket rather than taking up half a bag. |
Over-ear or in-ear is the only decision that really matters. Over-ear blocks more noise and lasts far longer on a charge, which is why it wins on a long flight. In-ear travels lighter and survives a workout, which over-ear does not. Both work with any phone over Bluetooth, though each brand pairs fastest and gets its extra features with its own.
What Actually Drops in Price
Not everything falls equally, and knowing the pattern saves you waiting for a discount that is not coming.
- Biggest dollar savings: laptops, foldables like the Z Fold, and the Pro Max or Ultra tier of any line, because they start highest.
- Biggest percentage savings: phones and tablets two or three generations back, and the entry models, so the Galaxy A series, the standard iPad, and the iPhone 11 and 12.
- Smallest movement: anything released in the past few months. The iPhone 18 Pro and Galaxy S26 get trimmed, not slashed.
- Worth the condition trade: a Grade B flagship often costs less than a Like New model from the generation below while outperforming it. The marks are cosmetic, and our grading guide explains each level.
Everything currently reduced across the site sits in current deals.
