Samsung Black Friday Deals 2026
Galaxy Models in the Black Friday Sale
Samsung runs its own Black Friday sale around TVs and appliances, so the phone discounts come from retailers, and the deepest ones come from refurbished. Phonebot's sale covers the Galaxy lines people actually shop: the S series, the Z Flip and Z Fold foldables, Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Watch. Every device is tested in our Melbourne warehouse, sold unlocked, ships free across Australia and is covered by warranty. If you are early, the wider refurbished Samsung range is already discounted ahead of the event.
Four families, four very different buyers. Here is how to tell which one is yours.
Galaxy S Series
The S series is the core of the sale and where the generation gap is worth money. The Galaxy S26 is the current flagship, in standard, FE and Ultra versions, available brand new and open box for buyers who want the newest hardware without full retail. One year back, the Galaxy S25 is the value pick of this sale: the S25 Ultra keeps the 200MP main camera and the built-in S Pen, and it costs considerably less than the S26 Ultra beside it. Step back once more and the Galaxy S24 still runs current One UI, still has the Ultra's titanium frame and S Pen, and is the cheapest route into a flagship Samsung. The plain and Plus models in each generation drop the telephoto reach and the S Pen, so check which version you are looking at rather than the generation alone.
Galaxy Z Flip and Z Fold
Foldables fall the furthest in dollar terms, because they launch highest. The Galaxy Z Flip folds a normal-sized phone in half, so it disappears into a pocket, and the cover screen handles replies, music and the camera without opening it. The Galaxy Z Fold does the opposite: a phone on the outside that opens into a tablet-sized display for reading, multitasking and documents. Buying a foldable refurbished is the sensible way in, because the hinge and both displays are tested before the device is listed and you avoid most of the launch premium. If you have only ever used a slab phone, the Flip is the easier switch.
Galaxy Tab
The Tab range splits the same way the phones do. The Tab S models are the ones worth watching: AMOLED displays, the S Pen included in the box rather than sold separately, and DeX for a desktop-style layout on an external screen. The A series covers streaming, browsing and schoolwork for a lot less. Cellular models are worth the step up only if the tablet leaves the house. See the full range on Samsung tablets.
Galaxy Watch
A Galaxy Watch is the easiest Samsung device to buy refurbished, since the case and the strap wear separately and straps are cheap to replace. The Classic models add the rotating bezel, which is the nicest way to move through Wear OS without touching the screen, while the standard models are lighter for sleep tracking and running. Check the case size before you order, because 40mm and 44mm straps are not interchangeable. One thing to know before you buy: a Galaxy Watch needs an Android phone, so it will not pair with an iPhone.
When Is Black Friday 2026 in Australia?
Black Friday falls on Friday 27 November 2026, with Cyber Monday following on Monday 30 November. Australian retailers now run it as a full week, so offers open earlier in that week and some carry into early December. Phonebot's Black Friday pricing appears on this page and in the product grid above as the event opens, alongside everything in our wider current deals.
Storage, Condition and Networks
Three things decide what you pay, and the generation is only one of them.
Storage cannot be expanded on current Galaxy flagships, because Samsung dropped the microSD slot from the S series years ago. The base tier is workable for everyday use, but if you shoot 4K video, keep music offline or hold a few large games, step up a tier while you are choosing rather than regretting it later.
Condition is where most of the saving sits. Brand new is sealed. Open box has been opened but not used. Like New shows no marks. Grade A has light marks you need to look for, and Grade B has visible marks on the frame or back that do not affect how the phone works. A Grade B Ultra often costs less than a Like New model from the generation below while out-performing it.
Networks are simple here: every handset is sold unlocked, so it works on Telstra, Optus and Vodafone and on the providers that run on them. If you use two numbers, check the listing for eSIM support, which varies by model and by where the handset was originally sold.
Why These Samsung Deals Cost Less
The saving comes from the device being professionally refurbished rather than new. Every handset is inspected, function tested, data wiped and graded before it is listed, then priced against its condition rather than its launch RRP. Nothing about the hardware is reduced. A Galaxy flagship from one or two generations back still runs the current One UI, still takes the same accessories and still holds a full day of battery, which is why it is the sensible buy in a week when everyone is comparing discounts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Friday 27 November 2026. Cyber Monday follows on Monday 30 November. Most Australian retailers, including Phonebot, open offers earlier in that week rather than on the Friday alone.
For most people, an Ultra from one generation back. It keeps the headline camera and the S Pen, runs the same software as the current model, and the price gap between generations is widest on the Ultra line. If you want the newest hardware, the current S26 is in the sale brand new and open box.
The Ultra adds the largest display in the generation, the highest-resolution main camera, longer telephoto reach and the built-in S Pen. The standard and Plus models share the processor and the software but drop the S Pen and some camera reach. If you do not write or draw on the screen, the standard model saves a lot.
Yes, and it is the most sensible way to buy one. Foldables carry the highest launch prices, so they fall the furthest, and the hinge and both displays are tested before the device is listed. The Z Flip suits anyone who wants a smaller phone in the pocket; the Z Fold suits reading and multitasking.
Yes. Every handset is sold unlocked, so it works across the Australian networks and the providers that run on them. Keep your existing SIM and your number.
Brand new is sealed and unused. Open box has been opened but not used. Like New shows no visible marks. Grade A has very light marks that are hard to spot, and Grade B has visible marks on the frame or back that do not affect how the device works. All grades are fully functional and tested.
No. Galaxy Watch models run Wear OS and need an Android phone to set up and sync. If you use an iPhone, an Apple Watch is the one to look at instead.
Yes. Every device from Phonebot is covered by warranty, and that does not change at Black Friday pricing. Devices are tested, graded and backed the same way all year.
Yes. Both are available at checkout on Black Friday orders, so you can split the cost of a phone, tablet or watch without waiting for the sale to end.
Black Friday generally offers the wider choice of models, storage sizes and conditions, because stock has not yet been picked over. By Boxing Day the range is narrower, even where prices are similar. If you want a specific model, storage size or colour, buy in November.
